Experience the Alpe di Siusi in the Dolomites in winter
Soak up the sun and fresh air on Europe's highest plateau - whether skiing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing or snowshoe hiking.
The entrance to the 56 km² winter paradise of the Alpe di Siusi is only a few minutes away by car or bus from the Hotel Mirabell Alpine Garden Resort & Spa. The free ski buses, which depart from the Gschlier bus stop just 3 minutes away, take you to the valley station of the gondola lift and thus to the start of your winter fun every 15 minutes.
The Alpe di Siusi ski region with its 60 kilometres of pistes is one of the top ski destinations for pleasure skiers, sportsmen and families. There are 26 slopes for beginners, 34 for advanced skiers and 4 black slopes for professionals. In the various fun parks, freestylers young and old can let off steam and try out their new tricks and jumps.
Thanks to our partnership with the winter sports rental Alpin Sports Company, you will receive a 10% discount on the rental fees for your ski and snowboard equipment. If you book online via the Alpin Sports Company site (promo code "mirabell"), you will actually receive a 15% discount. In addition, a free ski depot is at your disposal on the Alpe di Siusi (except during the periods 24.12.–07.01.25 und 15.02.–15.03.2025).
Along with Val Gardena, the Alpe di Siusi is part of the Dolomiti Superski area, the world's largest ski carousel. A ski bus runs from Saltria to Monte Pana, giving you access to the famous Sellaronda. The tour of the four Dolomite passes around the Sella massif guarantees a truly unique experience on the slopes.
The Alpe di Siusi is a true Mecca for cross-country skiing enthusiasts: 80 kilometres of double or quadruple-tracked trails offer the perfect tour for every level and every cross-country skiing style in a breathtaking, sunny setting. The trails are open daily from the beginning of December to the beginning of April from 08.30 to 17.00 and can be reached by taking the Alpe di Siusi cable car from Siusi.
Away from the ski slopes, you can enjoy the snow-covered landscape on the Alpe di Siusi to the full on a snowshoe hike or a winter walk. Around 60 kilometres of groomed hiking trails and 50 kilometres of signposted snowshoe trails take you to the most beautiful spots with fantastic views of the Dolomites.
Eight toboggan runs, which can be reached on foot or by lift, provide adrenaline and fun for the whole family. Toboggans can be rented at the lift valley stations or at the ski rental shops. Those who prefer something a little more romantic can enjoy a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the winter landscape.
